WHY DO I BUILD ARROWS?

About 20 years ago I discovered my enthusiasm for archery.

In addition to bow and arrow, I also shot crossbows and bolts. But I was not satisfied with the quality and the flight behavior of the conventional bolts. The standard bolts were not enough for me.
So I started to make my own bolts for my Barnett Commando 1 and later also for the Commando 2. Actually they were small arrows for crossbows, not bolts.
I tried a lot and dealt intensively with the flight behavior of the projectiles.

Finally I was satisfied. I was able to achieve really good results, even over long distances. Distances that were previously considered unattainable.

At first the bolts or arrows were only intended for me, but after a short time I also made my projectiles available to a few friends.

My name spread very quickly in the forums and Facebook groups of the crossbow scene.

I only took orders by phone and direct message, but now it's time to break new ground.

Due to the high demand, I now also offer my bolts in this online shop.

ARROWS & BOLT

Why do I also refer to crossbow bolts as arrows?

Ordinary Crossbow bolts are usually much shorter than Pfeile  and feathered less often in today's sports crossbow. As a result, its trajectory is less stable and the effective range of a crossbow is less than, for example, that of a longbow.

The bolts I make are usually much longer than ordinary crossbow bolts, and my bolts are fletched. The shaft is not made of metal, as is usual with match crossbows, but of fiber or 3K carbon.

This makes the trajectory more like that of an arrow than that of a bolt.

My "bolts" are actually small arrows, which are not fired with a bow but with a crossbow.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The arrow manufacturer Torsten Baale takes social responsibility seriously. I work with the GWW in Pasewalk, Ückermünde and Woldegk.

The GWW employees support me in individual subtasks such as gluing in the inserts.
